The Tampa International Airport and the St. Petersburg/Clearwater International Airport are the closest and best airports to the central gulf coast beaches from Clearwater Beach Fla. down to St. Petersburg Fla.  Both are under a 30 minute drive to almost every beach in the Tampa Bay area. Orlando International Airport is a 90 minute drive to our area and also to Anna Maria Island. Anna Maria Island is closer to Sarasota but accessible to any of these three airports and additionally Sarasota International Airport.

Florida Free Rides is a new transportation service for local rides in and around the Clearwater Beach Fla. area only.  Florida Free Rides runs from 9 am to 3 am, 7 days a week and is sponsored by a Clearwater hotel and restaurant. Just call 727-424-5458 for a free ride, or flag down one of the open air electric vehicles or minivans.
