On our family girls get-away, there were 11 of us from age 18 to 85. We were celebrating a big birthday and checking off a couple of bucket list items. With everything on one floor, the Casa Del Sol house was perfect for us. The large central area allowed everyone to gather, the pool was nice, and the view on the water was beautiful. Just a short walk to the beach allowed people to come and go without having to pay for parking. Early morning walks and evening sunsets are a must!

The location was great! It was a short walk to the beach, and in a great neighborhood. The pool was big and the younger kids even used the hot tub as their own "baby pool". The house had a boat dock for anyone that enjoyed fishing, and could have a boat docked if needed. The house could use a little updating, and the sliding doors were a little hard to open. Overall a great experience!

Our family of 5 stayed at Casa Del Sol in May for a week for our 25th wedding beach renewal ceremony.. We loved our stay! The house is huge & even nicer than the pictures. The neighborhood is beautiful. The pool & hot tub were great. The beach is only 2 blocks away. The restaurants & places to stock up on drinks and other supplies are all close by. We even drove to Disney & Universal. We will definitely stay at Casa Del Sol again when we come back to Clearwater!

We loved the property. The house was big and the two main baths were really large. Lots of room in the kitchen for everyone to cook at the same time! There were some issues but these were taken care of promptly by the owner who was there 2-3 times during our two month stay to take care of the issues. We really enjoyed getting to know him. Only a short walk to the beach and we rather enjoyed not being right on the beach as it was very busy and a lot of construction going on. Property was very clean and was easy for us to keep clean also...loved the dark tiled floors.

The space and location of this rental property was perfect for our family of 5. The house is very clean and we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We were minutes from the beach--2 blocks. Great restaurants within walking distance as well. The pool was probably our favorite part! After a long day at the beach or other activities the kids would jump in the pool for more fun or to cool off. They probably swam in the pool three different times per day. The house also had a few pool toys such as noodles, rafts, and other items that other guests had left which we definitely used. Sand toys were also available even though we brought our own. The floor was really slick when wet so we had to be a little careful--all of us slipped at one point throughout our week stay. My only small complaint is that I wish there were some spices left for us to use. It gets expensive to buy all of that and then leave it. All in all, great trip!! We will use this place again if we head to Clearwater!!

Casa Del Sol was in close proximity to the beach, yet it felt secluded while we enjoyed the pool or spying dolphins from the dock. The sliding door handles were worn and heavy to pull, but all in all we were pleased with the ease of function in the home. Thank you for letting us stay in your home and get away from the daily grind for a week!

Casa Del Sol was in a wonderful location with excellent amenities. Located on a beautiful street that is quiet and great for walks, but also close enough to walk to the town, beach and restaurants that it's the best of both worlds. The pool and canal views were always a welcome bonus. The house is also very spacious and well maintained. I would definitely consider staying here again.

This house was a great vacation home. It was stocked well with linens kitchen utensils and bath towels. The location was great. While not in the congestion of Clearwater Beach the home was within walking distance to all Clearwater Beach has to offer. We enjoyed swimming in the pool fishing off the pier and relaxing in the open floor plan. We are already discussing plans of renting this home in the future. Pictures of the home in the ads for this rental are a great representation of how this home shows.

Casa Del Sol was exactly what we were hoping for (you know how internet pictures can be very deceiving). Any very small issues/questions we had were addressed immediately by Carol, the property manager (she's a saint) and even the owner when needed, and they were fixed immediately. The location is everything you could ask for. We thought we would be bored after a week but we could have stayed another and still went to so many new places. The house was gorgeous inside and out. We enjoyed having a big kitchen inside and grill outside, pool and hot-tub, and playing cards on the deck in the evening. Even our very picky older in-laws were blown away and very comfortable. We will definitely be back!!

a guest from Clive, IA recommends this vacation rental

This beautiful home is spacious and bright and we used the screened in pool and hot tub at least twice a day. It's on a quiet street and the flowers outside the home are lovely. The beach is about a block and a half away but we drove because of the kids and the amount of equipment we took with us. Pier 60 is a great outing-very family friendly. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and silverware, the outside grill works well. We saw tons of birds (cranes, etc) inthr bavkyard throughout the day. They responded quickly when we called with a maintenance issue. Cons: bedroom with 2 mirrored closets does not get A/C and the ceiling fan doesn't quite cut it. Small tvs in bedrooms. No beach cart.
As you can see not many cons and they are not a big deal. Hope you enjoy this home as much as we did. Hope to make it back soon!!!

Overall a very good experience, a nice house in a decent location with a lovely view of the intercoastal waterway and its own little Jetty.

The property company were very good with the only very minor quibbles being that the door code was wrong when we arrived. There was also a minor plumbing issue but that was fixed within a couple of hours of us reporting it.

The closest point of the beach is about 5mins walk away, the centre of town around 10 so its pretty well located.

Nine adults stayed in this house & had an amazing time. Very spacious, clean & nicely decorated. Less than 5 min. to beach. Very Private. Pier/boat dock provided perfect place to get sun since wind made the beach impossible. Pool was great, small children would love it. Nice size yard & beautiful landscape. Highly recommend.

My husband and I rented Casa Del Sol in Clearwater Beach for 2 weeks over Christmas. It very nicely accommodated ourselves, 2 children and their spouses, and 2 grandchildren, ages 13 and 9. Beautiful house-- really enjoyed the pool and hot tub (had a minor problem and the owner came right over to get it fixed--a really nice guy). Wonderful location, walking distance to beach and fun spots such as Frenchys, Bills Crab Shack, Pier 60 etc. Would definitely rent this house again, but not over Christmas break, as it is much more expensive then.
