Family friendly beach rentals, the 3-bedroom, two-story house, sleeps up to 10 guests and sits in front of the second house. Built in the 1920's, the unifying theme throughout, is the original hardwood trim. Coquina Florida beach front rentals features a completely redone kitchen with granite countertops, custom made cabinetry, new appliances and a breakfast bar. The living room has a functional fireplace and unobstructed views of the Gulf and also flows into the diningroom. Off the livingroom is a private den. Upstairs has 3 bedrooms, including the oversized master suite. Facing the Gulf of Mexico, the master has sweeping views from its many windows, plus a sitting area where you can unwind and experience the bliss. The sitting area also has a sleeper/sofa.

Perhaps the best feature of the property is the large lanai. This is where outdoor living captures the essence of beachfront living with cozy decor and dining area. This is where you experience the pristine views of the Gulf, mixed with the magnificent sea of pines, sea oats and other native foilage.
For those who need more privacy, Coquina Duplex Villa sits back and has two floors, each with its own private entrance. Downstairs features a full kitchen, sitting area, queen bed and full bath. Upstairs offers a sitting balcony with unobstructed views of the beach. Upstairs consists of a queen bed, shower bath and some kitchen appliances. Lots of private parking and within walking distance to many restaurants and water activities, Coquina Serenity Haven is a perfect place to unwind. Weddings and special occasions can be held with no more than 50 guests attending the event.

Upon arrival, we knew we had the right house for us. In our group of family and friends of eleven, the space and place was exactly what we had hoped for. The charm of the house was what was so unexpected. We immediately felt relaxed and comfortable. Our days ahead were filled with wedding parties, rehearsals and the wedding itself on Sand Key and Coquina Villa provided the perfect place to come home to.

Walk out the back door and steps to the sand and ability to set out your chairs right by the water. Very nice team that takes care of any issues.

The house is within walking distance to restaurants, and steps from the beach. We had a good time and planning to come back. Everything was in great condition, with a couple of minor points. The dishwasher door makes a lot of noise when opening/closing, and dishes are not super clean at the cycle end. Also, the gas grill was dirty from previous use.

Dennis C from Wesley Chapel, FL recommends this vacation rental

Exceeded my expectations. House was very clean and in great shape with everything working properly. The shading that the the 2 large trees give the patio area is perfect to relax and escape the sun when needed. Another perfect item was the large dining room table that with adding the bar stools can easily fit 10 people around it. I very much look forward to returning and am planning our next stay as I write this. The only suggestion I would make is to please invest in a bigger (much bigger) propane bbq grill - the current grill is way too small to accommodate grilling lunch/dinner for 8+ people.

  • Manager Responded on 7/31/2017

thank you for the feedback on the grill. It will be mentioned to the owner. Hope to see you again soon!

This trip was a guys weekend to get away and this house was great. We had plenty of space to sleep 11 people and the ability to walk right out to the beach was ideal. Wow, we had a family birthday celebration for my father in Laws 80th birthday, with family coming in from all over the country. When we arrived Grace who meet us at the house was amazing, she let us put our bags in a little early which was a lot of help and much appreciated. We used both Villa's and the house was perfect for our 12 people. The view amazing. Plenty of room to spread out although we spent much of our time on the back patio. With no question, we will be back. Alan, was also very professional.

a guest from Hiawatha, IA recommends this vacation rental

Located a few steps from the beach, this magnificent home is well-kept, exceptionally clean, and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is fully stocked. There are plenty of seating areas inside and outside for meals and socializing. The deck is warm and inviting, with a large table for sitting and a couch for lounging. Beach towels are provided. The owner was very accommodating in allowing a late checkout time. There are several restaurants within walking distance of the home. The only disappointment was the available beds. The listing shows two twin beds in the smaller home. However, upon arrival, we discovered a full size bed instead of twin beds. People in our group of 12 did not want to share a full size bed, therefore one person had to sleep on the couch. One of the rooms in the bigger house also has a full size bed (as advertised). Just be aware that when it says the home sleeps 12, this means four people will be sharing two full-size beds.

  • Manager Responded on 10/22/2016

We are sorry about the changing of the bed. The owner did that and we have now adjusted it on the website.

We had originally booked a different house through another company and they cancelled 30 days before arrival-thongs really do happen for a reason!!!
Everything about the property was so great- location, number of beds, new living and dining room furnature, beach. Our family had the best time celebrating a 60th together. We will definitely be back!
My ONLY suggestion is to add a Kuerig to the main house kitchen. We had trouble with the coffee maker not shutting off even if you said 1-4 cups? We wasted a lot of good coffee otherwise it had everything we could have asked for!
Thank you for an amazing place and an awesome stay.

Tracy S from Salisbury, NC recommends this vacation rental

We absolutely loved this house and the location. We rented both units; the main house and the separate duplex. The main house is just wonderful. It is an older home that has very appropriately maintained the character and charm of the original design, complemented by very nice modern updates. The main house has 3 bedrooms all upstairs. The master bedroom is huge with a very comfortable bed and large sitting area with couch and TV. One of the other guest rooms has a full bed and the other room has two twin beds. There is one bathroom upstairs (no ensuite for the master).

The kitchen and dining area is really the centerpiece. It is beautiful and everything you could possibly need is available. There are also two sitting areas and a large TV. There is a full washer and dryer off the kitchen and another bathroom just off the front entrance. All of the linens, appliances, kitchenware, games, beach towels, etc. that you could possibly need are available.

We spent most of our time on the back patio area. There is a nice 6 seat table and futon/lounge on the back porch, as well as multiple other patio chairs. The house overlooks sand dunes, which does obscure the view of the beach, but it's a very short walk to get to the beautiful sand. The house has other properties on both sides, but we never had any issue with privacy or noise.

The bottom unit in the duplex is certainly the nicest of the two. The upstairs unit is very simple and slightly dated, but is fully self-sufficient. Both units have an open area with a bed, kitchenette and separate bathroom. Neither match the quality of the main house, but they were still very sufficient for our guests.

The property was very clean and everything was in very good working order. I received very prompt and efficient service through .

There are a few restaurants within walking distance, and everything else is within a short drive. The location worked perfectly f

Diane T from Mount Pleasant, SC recommends this vacation rental

What a lovely place! This old beach cottage has been lovingly updated to include all of today’s creature comforts. But you can still see and feel a connection to its past days (in a good way). The kitchen was surprisingly well stocked for a rental – including good knives!! And since of most of us flew in, it was great to have beach chairs and lots of beach towels for us to use.

Special highlights for our group include the chair filled patio – where morning coffee was sipped; the big back porch – where afternoon naps were taken; the large dining tables (inside and out) where delicious meals were shared and games were played; and the well-stocked kitchen that is always the center of everything!

The only problem we had was the air conditioning in the upstairs unit in the back. It was not working properly and the room was quite musty. We did call about this, and someone did come out but it never quite got corrected. We just moved those folks into the big house and went on with our great weekend.

Really unique and pleasant older house right on the beach. Very spacious and very, very well equipped with lots of extra small amenities, particularly in the kitchen.

The layout is a bit odd, two of the bedrooms are in a detached building with separate exterior entrances. These bedrooms are great for couples but weren't the best for kids.

Overall we enjoyed this place very much.

There's enough space for everyone inside and a long walk on a beautiful beach, if you want to get away! If you want restaurants or a drug store, they are close by--walking distance. A Publix grocery store is two miles away.

Well maintained house right on the beach. Everything you could need is provided. We went with our extended family during the summer. The only down side to the property was the bathroom in the 2nd house on the top floor. Its only a two piece - shower and toilet. The kitchen sink doubled as the bathroom sink which was a little awkward.

  • Manager Responded on 8/23/2014

Glad you enjoyed your stay! It is a great home with a classic Florida feel. We can not wait until you come back! That bathroom sink that was mentioned is not a kitchen sink. It is the sink to the bathroom that has a coffee maker and mini fridge near by. Similar to what you would see in a hotel.

What can I say about this is perfect! An amazingly quaint, traditional beach house with a granny annex. It is perfectly placed on a beautiful beach with good places to eat and drink within walking distance and a choice of supermarkets only a couple of minutes away by car.

Thank you for allowing us to stay in your amazing house - We will definitely be returning to stay here again!

Beautiful, well-appointed, well-kept home in the perfect location - steps from the beach. It had everything we needed for cooking and lounging - and location was close enough to enjoy kayaking among the mangroves in Gulfport and the St Pete's farmers market. House problems/questions were resolved quickly. We had family come from all over the East Coast and we had a wonderful time -- thanks!

This house was absolutely perfect for us. It was not fancy or stuffy in any way. If you are looking to kick off your shoes, and relax for a week then this is THE place. We stayed there with my immediate family (10 people, including kids). We all had plenty of space, and nobody felt claustrophobic. It is an older house so the closet space is very small and there was not too much space to unpack our clothes. I could not find it in myself to care about that. The kitchen was stocked. The location is unbeatable. The property is maintained very well. It was a wonderful week, and we plan on returning.
The only negatives were my kids got a little bored. Seven days relaxing on the beach got to be a bit too much for them (I know, I know). Plus, and this really isn't that bad, there is a next door neighbor who tends to be a bit of a busy-body. She means well I am sure, but being told what to do (or not to do) while on the beach can be slightly irritating. If I were the property owner, I would want a neighbor like that though, so, again, I couldn't find it in myself to really get annoyed at her.

Fabulous location, fabulous week, fabulous house!

Every year our family of 10 (4 grandkids; 6 adults, including grandparents)rent a house near the ocean, and we spend a week together. Like many families today, ours is spread out from the east to the west coast, so it's an important time for us to reconnect. We have been to Hawaii, California, Rhode Island, Arizona, Minnesota, and now Florida. This year we were so sad our trip had to come to an end at the Coquina Beach Front Villas in Indian Rocks FL. What a great time!
From the beach front access, to dolphins, mermaid shows at Weeki Wachee, watersides, shell collecting, paddle boarding, deep sea fishing, bowling and walks to the nearby ice cream store...this year's trip will be in our memories forever!!

We LOVED the location of this house. It was perfect!!!! So close to the beach and a shaded front porch with the ocean breeze to keep us cool! I would LOVE to come back again. The only reason for the 4 star about the property is that it would be great to have the bathrooms a little more updated but we really can't complain! LOVED IT! The community was also GREAT! We rented paddle boards and kayaks and took advantage of Crabby Bill's and Forest Gump's! Also the Ice Cream place on the corner. Fantastic!!!! From Shirley and Sherri and FAMILY!!!!!!

This was our first stay at the villa although we have been vacationing at Indian Rocks Beach for the last three years. This was by far, the most enjoyable family vacation yet! The house is so beautiful and spacious, that even tropical storm Debbie didn't stop us from having a wonderful time! The home has all of the modern conveniences but still maintains a charm and character that can only be experienced by actually personally experiencing it.

We plan on making this our annual family vacation home for years to come.

Many thanks to beach house and the gracious owner for offering the villa for our family to enjoy.

The property is amazing. We used both houses and had a small, family wedding on the beach. The trees are the best, kept the sun at bay, but plenty of sun elsewhere. The house is so warm and inviting, we felt like home the moment we arrived. Everyone was able to relax and enjoy a most memorable trip. We would definitely stay here again, and would recommend to anyone/everyone.

Thank you so much for the privilege of staying at your property (11 of us, including 4 grandchildren). We came to Florida from Michigan to celebrate my 70th birthday and it could not have been more perfect....from the beautifully appointed home and adjacent apartments to the VERY fully furnished kitchen. We enjoyed the privacy of this beautiful property as well as the comfortable accommdations. The beach was splendid and the weather was perfect. I would love to return again and again and again!

We had a fabulous time! Being right on the beach was perfect! The house was so accommodating for our group - we cooked and visited and partied and didn't feel the need to leave the property most of the time. We sat on the beach each evening to watch the sun go down and usually were up right after sunrise each morning. We could walk to restaurants and weren't too far from a grocery store. The weather was perfect, the beach was beautiful - all conducive to helping our son propose to the love of his life!! And then we all celebrated! Many memories were made and our little 7 month old granddaughter will forever love the beach!!

I invited my family from out of state to join me for a week in sunny Florida and we had a glorious time. The house was perfect. It is right on the water, accommodated everyone with their own bedroom, and has a large patio where we sat every evening and watched the sunset. It was great to meet the owner, Laura, in person when we checked in and I found Beach House FL great to work with as well. Overall, it was a great experience and we hope to rent the house again next year.
