We had such a wonderful stay at Gardenia Beach Hideaway! We were there for five nights in October while we attending a wedding in the area. The house was perfect. It had everything we could have ever wanted, was super close to the beach, sparkling clean and just perfect for our group. We enjoyed the pool in the mornings and beached in the afternoons then back "home" to cook in the amazing kitchen! We even used the grocery delivery offered by one of the local Publix grocers and that worked seamlessly. Thank you so much for a great stay. We are in the area often and I will not hesitate to book this property again. The only downside, I left a whole drawer of clothing by mistake at the rental home, BUT they were kind enough to ship it to me! Great experience! See you next year Gardenia Beach Hideaway. :)

Our stay at Gardenia Hideaway was great. The house is in a great location- just close enough to the beach, and just far enough away from downtown. We didn't have hardly any hot water, which is my only complaint. There was plenty of sleeping room, the kitchen seemed to be newly renovated, and the back yard was great.

My family of eight (teens to young adults) stayed at this property the week between Christmas and New Year's. We found the house to be clean, in good repair, and well appointed. The kitchen is beautiful and extremely well stocked - everything we needed for several meals at home. The bedrooms are comfortable and the guest bath is beautiful. The main bathroom is outdated and the pool area could use an update (the table needs to be replaced). The location is great - just four blocks from the beach, with beach towels and accessories provided. We had one maintenance issue which was addressed promptly. Management was responsive. Overall, we had a great stay!

We stayed at the beach property to celebrate my 29th birthday. Had the best time! The house is very nice, 2 of the bedrooms are very large with king size beds the other is smaller and cozy with a queen size bed. Was very happy with the kitchen and pool. The only complaint I have is the bathrooms. The main bathroom is outdated and only the hot water works in the shower/bath tub! The other bathroom is tucked away in the queens size bedroom and is beautiful and remodeled, but the shower barely has any pressure to it. Besides that I would highly recommend this house.

This property was just perfect! The outside is clean, nice, and well kept though it is not brand new. The inside was really great - super clean and most looked newly remodeled. Two really large bedrooms and one that was certainly sufficient for vacation. Furniture looks really new and is super comfortable. Kitchen is amazing with EVERYTHING you would need to prepare a casual or complex meal - one of the best stocked we've seen. Very spacious as well. There are pool toys, and beach towels as well as a beach cart, chairs and tons of sand toys! The pool was very clean with a nice table and lots of chairs for dining outside. The walk to the beach was a few short blocks and took no more than 5 minutes. From start to finish every contact with the staff was great - they made the experience a breeze and provided lots of great tips. Alan was very helpful as was Paul who gave us lots of great places to go to aa well as restaurant suggestions. Island View has an AMAZING Sunday brunch that is very reasonably priced for what you get. We also loved Frenchy's and Bros Pizza (which delivers to this address). The walk to the end of Clearwater Beach and over to Caladesi Island State Park was beautiful and so peaceful! We will certainly recommend to anyone we know and will definitely use this company for rentals if we go back to the area they serve!

Rented this house in June 2017 from . Great location, only 5 min from the beach (about 10-15 min from the pier). Easy booking-process, great location, own pool! And all necessary amenities. Some wear-and-tear throughout the house, but generally well-kept. Had a small issue with the door-code when we came to the house, but easily resolved when we called their office. Quick return of our security deposit! All in all very happy with our stay, can recommend to future travelers!

Overall our experience was great. We were lucky enough to check in early and get settled. I had almost constant communication from Maria who was our rep, and was more than helpful.

The house was clean and just as advertised. Great little spot close to a beach that was away from a lot of the crowded tourist spots. Check in and out was easy, and it was definitely a spot where we could relax. Highly recommended.

Only thing I would recommend to the owner would be to label the plug where the Hot Tub is, so people don't accidentally turn it off like we did. Easy fix once we sorted it out.

Our experience with this property was nothing short of stellar! The place has gone through some upgrades and they are modern, clean, and comfortable. The property is a short (less than 5 mins) walk to the white sand and warm ocean. It is a short drive to get to the main strip in Clearwater beach for shopping and dining. Having the personal pool and hot tub was a nice touch for our family of 5. It was the perfect getaway for the kids during down time. Response time from the property folks could have been better but it didn't impact our stay at all. We look forward to booking this property again for next year's vacation!

This house was exactly what we were looking for when staying in Clearwater Beach. We had 8 people in our party including my 8-month old daughter and the amount of space we had throughout the house was perfect. Fortunately, the house already had a pack & play, a high chair, and even a baby float for the pool! Other pros: comfortable beds, stocked kitchen, and covered patio in the backyard. The pool is not huge by any means but it served the purpose for our group of 8, and the hot tub was wonderful to have as well. It rained 2 out of the 3 days we were there, so having those amenities at the house really came in handy.

The house is about a 5 minute walk to the beach, which we expected. It did not bother us at all. You are also a very short distance from downtown so you don't have far to go to a restaurant, but you are far enough north that you almost have the beach to yourself. It was a wonderful experience all around and I definitely recommend this house!

My boyfriend and I stayed here last week. My favorite part about this house is it felt like a home. It was so inviting and warm. We never felt like we had to tip-toe around afraid to break something or break any rules. It was just so comfortable, like we were staying at a relatives house and could just relax and breath easy. The home itself is very well kept, nothing about it, inside or out, seemed dirty or old. The kitchen is spacious and has all appliences provided which made it very convenient when i found the normal style coffee maker under the kitchen island :) The back bedroom by the pool has its own bathroom with a beautiful and very large stand up shower complete with a rain style shower head. The two other bedrooms up front are spacious and bright, and I loved the pillows! The pool area was a perfect size for us, not too big and not too small. The pool itself is clean and well kept, and clean. The house is located so close to the beach you can walk their! And at the end of the day, you get to come back to a nice quiet neighborhood away from all the noise. At the end of the stay, it is asked that you wash as many tiwels as possible prior to leaving, and we actually thought that was pretty cool because it just added to the whole "home" feeling. Also, if we needed anything or had any questions, we would just call the number at any time so it was very convenient. Overall, our experience was great. On the day we left to go home, we were very sad to leave. We will most definatley be returning, hopefully one day very soon!

We rented this house for two families, with younger children. Worked out well for us; pool and hot tub were great and a easy walk to the beach. Loved the fact that this house is in the residential section, North of all the general craziness...perfect for quiet relaxation. We had a great time!

We had an excellent spring break trip to Florida and I would recommend the Gardenia Hideaway to anyone who wants to be a short walk from the beach. The pool is an excellent added feature which was very clean and well maintained. The house itself served its purpose and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great beach getaway.

My husband, 2 children and my mother stayed for a week. The weather was perfect! The house is located off the main road where spring breakers are at and therefore, feels just like home. It was very quiet and relaxing! The beach was a 4 block walk with amazing beaches, calm waters and relaxed atmosphere compared to the spring break areas! One block the other direction was a public access to the bay areas with breathtaking homes and views! Our family shared the 2 king bedrooms and my mom had the queen bedroom and bath at the other end of the house. This allowed her to take a break from the kids if she needed and had her own space! The pool and hot tub in the backyard were in use all the time, so convenient and well cared for. Check in was a breeze with just a phone call upon arrival and the rest was all VACATION!

This was our first trip to flordia with our 5 and 7 year old. The rental was clean and ready for us upon arrival. The pool heater was off and propane tank for the grill was empty, but it was fixed promptly the next day. Location was perfect just a few blocks from the beach. We spent several days enjoying the beach, which is very private in that area. if your looking for a quiet vacation to yourself, this rental is perfect!

We were a party of two with an infant and very much enjoyed our stay as the house was generally as described. The kitchen and it's facilities were excellent. The criticism we had is that the bathrooms were not up to scratch for a house of that standard. They were old fashioned and in need of refurbishment.

We had a great time during our week at Clearwater Beach. The house was beautifully updated and decorated, well stocked kitchen. comfortable beds, and private relaxing pool area. The only recommendation we have would be to replace the couches. They provide little support and are difficult to get up from. Thank you for a wonderful week!

Gorgeous newly upgraded clean house! Very nicely decorated!
Short (5 minute) walk to the beach - but north of all amenities so you need to bring your own chairs, drinks and snacks if you are looking for only a short walk. The nearby beach is not groumed therefor full of shells and washed up seaweed etc.
20-30 minute walk to popular area of the beach and restaurants!
There is a free ride taxi service that runs on tips in the area!
Pool and hot tub are excellent.
Must bring your own towels and pool lounge chairs if travelling with more than 2 guests.
Management was very easy to communicate with (they even text)!

Karen B from Irvine, KY recommends this vacation rental

We stayed here in January, and it was beautiful. Just a short walk to the beach. The private pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained. We had an issue with a neighbor's dog coming in the yard through a gap in the fence, and the staff fixed it immediately. It was a very quiet neighborhood.
My only suggestion would be to put a lock, like a sliding chain, up high on the door leading out to the pool. This would give peace of mind to guests traveling with small children who might wake up early and want to run outside.
The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware, and the home was very comfortable, with very nice bedding. Would definitely recommend it to friends.

  • Manager Responded on 1/26/2014

Thank you for the suggestion about the pool.... It is a great idea! We would love to have you back again soon!

Patty G from Maquekta, IA recommends this vacation rental

For the past 3 years I have gone on a "girls only" trip. Previously have rented a condo and this was our first experience with a house rental. It was a very good experience for us. The house was very clean and well stocked with all the kitchen item you could possibly need. The only complant is that the cupboards are so full that there isnt anywhere to put your grocery staples. We really appreciated the gas grill to use, which saved us money to spend somewhere else. We spent alot of time out by the pool and each night in the hot tub. The only complaint that we had was that the pool was heated but to 82 degrees, which was a little cool feeling espically with the temperatures in the low 80"s. The beach was a short 3 1/2 blocks away to walk. Would have been nice to have had a cart or wagon to assist us to the beach. The area where the house is located is quiet and off a busy street. The house on the back side had a spotlight that was on 24/7 which lite up 2 of the 3 bedrooms which made it difficult for the others to sleep. Just a word of advise if you want to use the hot tub, make sure you know the time the sprinkler system goes on. Overall, I would reccomend this rental property to couples, familes or girls' getaways.
