My family and I stayed at the house on a Cambria Street in Clearwater, and we absolutely loved staying there!! There were enough rooms and beds to fit all 14 of us, and they had a pack and play and high chair for my nephew which was really convenient. It’s a fun, beach themed house and it is so close to the beach that we could come and go as we wanted. We loved the pool and hot tub and put it to good use. The hot tub stopped working one day, but they were quick to send someone to fix the hot tub. My entire family loved the house and would love to come back and vacation at this house again. It was perfect for us.

Stephen T from Marietta, GA recommends this vacation rental

Great option for families with small kids. The small pool and spa were great for keeping the 6 year old and 3 year old occupied when we did not feel like going to the beach.

House layout is a little funny, having 2 of the bedrooms in a sperate area behind the main part of the house, but it did give a bit of privacy for those sleeping in that section.

For the age of the house, the upkeep was pretty good and it was generally clean for a beach house. If you are really a clean freak this might not be the place, then again the beach might not be right for you either.

Nice having a car port for the car plus one more car behind it. Street parking for a 3rd car is OK, but there can be some contention for that spot.

In the heat of the day, it might be a little much to walk to the main dining and shopping areas of Clearwater Beach which are about 1/2 mile away, but at night it was good.

This was the best vacation rental that we have ever had. The size was perfect for our group of 14. The only cons that we had were that the grill hadn't been cleaned for a long time and when we used it, it smoked extremely too much and caught fire(small). Also, 2 of the bedrooms were not connected to the main house. There was a separate entrance for them. If you had more than one car, good luck parking. Having a washer & dryer was great! The pool & hot tub was great to just relax at the rental. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone.

We stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed every night. The beach is 50 yd walk and the kids loved the pool. The house was very clean and a great open layout.

The only issue we had was that the two rooms in the back were super cold, but we never called anyone to ask if there was a way to fix that so it may have been user error.

The only other suggestion to improve the property would be to add some hooks in the bathrooms for hanging towels.

Overall, great house. We'd stay again.

The location of this property is by far the best part. It is within short walking distance of so many bars and restaurants... not once the whole week did we drive anywhere. The house provided enough kitchen supplies that we were not short on anything. We just one issue with the house while we were there, and they were so response, even at an inconvenient hour. The whole process was extremely smooth. Even with the maximum number aloud to stay at the house (15) we were comfortable. The deck, pool, and hot tub were such a plus on days it was too cold and windy to hit the beach! Would definitely stay here again. The decor is beautiful and the kitchen is very updated.

The location couldn't have been better, right by the beach but away from the busy pier. Overall the house was great but lacked kitchen amenities. We cooked at the house most of the time and would have liked better quality pans, knives ect. We has one small issue but the manager quickly responded and fixed the problem. He was friendly and wanted to make sure a stay was the best it could be. Thanks for everything. We hope to go back soon and would stay at this house again.

We took the family on a 8 day family vacation to Clearwater Beach and had a great time with the grandkids along with are 3 children and there spouses. The rental was a very nice place to stay with the pool and hot tub. The house was as pictured. It’s just a short walk to the beach and once on the beach. The only negative I would have to say about the rental it was not stocked very well with some kitchen items. It would have been nice to have a few pot holders and maybe a pizza pan or cookie sheet . There was plenty of silverware , cups, glasses and plates but the pots and pans are a little beat up and on the older side. The beds are ok and the furniture was nice. We had no problems with any thing in the house so we never needed to contact the manager. We did go during the off season and the beach was not over crowded. We had an amazing time.

This house is in the PERFECT location! We had 3 families stay (grandparents, parents, kiddos) and were able to accomodate everyone easily with different nap and bedtime schedules. We loved walking to dinner each night. My parents even walked to have appetizers and drinks from the beach one day and LOVED it. You can walk to the beach in just a minute since it's at the end of the street. The pool is small but was the perfect size for our toddler and babies. The property wasn't as clean as we expected but the property manager was quick to help and respond!

Phil C from Littleton, CO recommends this vacation rental

We are 12 old friends that find a place in Florida each year, for last 5 years, to watch the super bowl and reunite from all over, DC, NO, Colorado, Carolinas, VA and Florida. The stay was great, 5 days, great location could not be any better, the price was reasonable and neighbors were adults and very nice. It is walking distance to shops, restaurants, 1/2 a block from the beach, and great sunsets. The house slept 12 comfortably. There were only a few minor details need to have some attention. The management company was very cooperative. Change the mattress in the bedroom near the pool, also put a curtain up on the door, fix the TV so it changes channels, pool should be vacuumed before we start the vacation and mop the deck and kitchen floor. Also need a few more beach chairs. If you read this, and you are a a potential renter, don't let these comments scare you. It was a great stay. We are planning to go back in 2018.. The handyman and person who checked us in were very professional, as was Alan an all the other agents.

Carly and louis C from Copiague, Ny recommends this vacation rental

We had a wonderful stay at this home. It was a perfect fit for our 4 couples and 4 singles. We also brought our 2 year old and there was a pack and play we could use as well as an umbrella stroller when we walked to town. The pool was perfect for soaking in anytime and the beach was just a few houses away. Our beach access was very secluded being far away from the overpopulated resorts. And it was barely a 5 minute walk to the restaurants and shops. The kitchen was well stocked and very clean. We were worried the house would smell musty, by although it's an old house we were very happy with how clean it was. We are considering making this house an annual stop as a family however our one request would be new mattresses. We read they were new, however the side apartment and the left bedroom behind the kitchen mattresses were dipping in the middle. It wasn't terrible enough to complain to management but if we come next year it will only be if they are truly new. We can't rave enough about Maria. She was very helpful and tried to get us early check in and later checkout and we were very grateful for her efforts. Joe also came by to show us how to raise temperature of hot tub. We later realized it's not a hot tub but just gets warmer when the pool heater is on, but despite that we were very grateful for his help.

  • Manager Responded on 10/6/2016

Thank you for the kind words and we would love to have you back. The mattresses are less then two years old, so I am little surprised by that. Feedback is very important to us and we will as a few more guests about the mattresses to see if they need replacing

It's only a 1 minute walk to the beach, which is really perfect. The house was in a good condition and we didn't miss any equipment. Shops and Restaurants were in walking distance.

WE had an incredible stay at Cambria house, 1 block walk to the beach on a private culdesac. We had 3 families a total of 10 people all had their own space and comfortable beds. The apartment on back was an added bonus for our young grandchildren to take naps. We came back from the beach and enjoyed the rest of the afternoon in the wonderful pool and cooked on the grill and in the large kitchen. WE even all fit at the long dining table. There was so much provided in the kitchen, it really helped. WE had such comfy beds. All our maintenance requests were quickly and efficiently met. My only suggestion to management is to replace faucets and shower heads and air filters. Also make sure the door code you give to renters works.

STAFF WAS GREAT! ALAN WORKED WITH ME TO SET UP THE RENTAL. HE WAS GREAT TO WORK WITH! MARIA WAS ALSO GREAT TO WORK WITH! SHE HELPED US THE DAY WE ARRIVED. WE ASKED HER IF WE COULD CHECK IN EARLY AND SHE WORKED WITH THE CLEANING LADY. DIDN'T GET IN TOO EARLY BECAUSE THE PRIOR GUESTS CHECKED OUT LATE. THE CODE WASN'T CHANGED AND MARIA DROVE OVER TO CHANGE THE CODE BUT THE TRAFFIC WAS SO BAD. SHE CALLED AND KEPT US INFORMED WHERE SHE WAS AND WHAT WE NEEDED TO DO. I LIKED THE 2 SEPARATE BEDROOMS AND BATH WITH IT'S OWN ENTRANCE. THE OUTSIDE AREA IS NICE AND BIG EVEN THOUGH THE PICTURE DOESN'T SHOW IT. THE BEDROOMS ARE SMALL BUT WORKED FINE. THE ONLY NEGATIVE IS THE PARKING. WE HAD 4 VEHICLES AND IT WAS TOUGH.

We rented the cambria house for two nights in may. There were 13 of us and we had more than enough space. The house had been updated and the beds were comfy (except the one trundle bed closest to the needs to be 4 year old couldn't even sleep on it the springs were looking through) but other than that minor detail it wad awesome! Close walk to the beach, pool, shade, privacy! The check in and our process was super easy and booking was efficient. We would most definitely come back and stay here again!

Peir 60 was only a 15 minute walk. We enjoyed Tampa and Clearwater. Crabby Bills, Bait Shop and Smokey Bones Bar and Grill were awesome. We enjoyed Busch Gardens, Clearwater Aquairium, parasailing, speed boating, fishing, a Pirate ship tour, miniature golfing and Caladesi Island. Property is well kept and clean. Was great having a pool. Could use a few more beach towels we brought some so we were okay.

This was the 2nd year we stayed at this home. The location can't be beat. The beach is at the end of the street, just a minute walk away! It is far enough away from the main beach that the traffic is minimal and the beach is not as crowded. Restaurants and Pier 60 are within a 5-10 minute walk. We had a few minor issues with the property, but management took care of them immediately. Definitely recommend this property to others.

Eleven members of our family, from Washington State and Brazil, spent a delightful week at the Cambria Clearwater Beach rental. It was perfect for us, very comfortable beds, good showers, on a quiet street and literally a 60 second walk to the fabulous beach. The minor issues we had were attended to promptly by courteous workers. The house is older with signs of use, with a modern kitchen, and vintage, comfy furniture. It is just right for a fun-loving group, especially with kids, (ours were ages 6, 10, 12, and 17).

We had a great time at the Cambria house. From the time we arrived to the time we departed, everything went seamlessly. The staff was great to work with and was always available to answer our calls. The house is very nice and clean and fit our extended family of 15 just fine. The house was well-stocked with household items with the exception of paper products and toiletries. The keyless entry to the house was just wonderful. Flying in from out of state with grandparents and children, we didn't have to worry about losing any keys. The two bedrooms in the back of the house was nice. Although it had a separate entry from the rest of the house, it was nice to have that privacy. The pool and hot tub was also a great feature to have in addition to the beach that was just down street. Great to just come home at the end of the day, take a dip in the pool or hot tub, and relax in the courtyard. The house is in an excellent location. Close enough to all the action but far enough to give you a little peace and space. The beach was lovely; plenty of space and it was never too crowded compared to the beach by the pier. Everything was walking distance with plenty to do, eat, and play. Overall, we felt right at home. The only thing we had trouble with was the parking space. We flew in so rented 3 cars to accommodate our group and the different activities we had planned. The house does have 3 parking spaces (1 stall, 2 street) as advertised but during the day while we were gone, beachgoers parked in the street parking to go to the beach. When we came back, we couldn't park all three cars. However, it was a minimal issue compared to our overall stay. We would rent again. Thank you BeachHouse!

Ralph C from Omaha, NE recommends this vacation rental

My husband and I rented both sides (main house/mother in law apt). We brought our dental team down to Clearwater for some team building and some r and r! The house was just as depicted in the pictures: clean, spacious, up to date etc. The pool and hot tub really added to the trip too, cuz in the am and pm, we would sit around it, with our feet dangling in and chat. The grill and patio tables were very helpful as we would sit outside and eat. But the best thing of all was the attention of Paul, the property manager. I called him because one of the doors wouldn't shut, immediately he had someone come to fix it. I called him again because the listing said there was a hair dryer but we couldn't find one. He sent someone over with a new one! I had to call him a third time because the house seemed warmer and the thermostat was set lower, he sent the ac guy and the guy added Freon and we were good to go. Never did I feel guilty for calling, he was very accommodating and when they say steps from the beach, they mean it! The dental team could not have been any happier! Thanks for a wonderful week in much better than at a hotel!!!!

We rented the home with 15 in our party. Overall our experience was great and we'd do it all over again. The manager was very responsive to a couple of minor issues we experienced and arrived literally within minutes of our call. The plus on this house is it's charm and location. It's a renovated 1920's beach house just steps from the ocean. There is room to park 3 vehicles, 2 in the drive and 1 in front of the unit. The kitchen is fully stocked with basic utensils and has basic microwave and range/oven with cooktop. A very large family style table is in the kitchen area as well. Above the family room is a loft that sleeps 4 on two singles with trundles. Three double beds are on the main floor along with 2 full baths. Outside off the deck is an add on with two bedrooms with doubles and and another full bath, as well as an add on laundry building. I mention the two rooms are off the deck because one might not want to have kids that are not independent/a bit older sleep there alone. The pool is small but you have an ocean. Hot tub is decent but nothing fancy. We slept 15 with the use of a provided blow up mattress and a pull out couch, but comfortably I'd say 7 adults and 4 kids or some combination thereof is about it's limit but even then, the double beds would be tight for two adults. The unit was clean. They provide linens and towels but bring extra beach towels and toys/chairs. They provide a grill on the deck but it's not large enough for the number of people the house supports. Overall, it was a solid week made easy by responsive management.

The beach cottage was perfect for our needs- two grandparents, two adult children and spouses, and four grandchildren, ages one to twelve. Cambria Cottage has a small private pool that was perfect for the kids, and the beautiful beach was a few steps away. It was so nice not have to load everything into the car to go to the beach. We had plenty of room for everyone. Another bonus was Paul, our contact person, who quickly fixed any problems we encountered. Would highly recommend for families or anyone wanting privacy and convenience.

There were 11 of us and we all had a very good time. Unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate, but made the best of it. Not too far from the beach and maybe a 15 min walk from the downtown area of clearwater beach. Didn't talk to the neighbors much, other than they made sure we knew about not making noise after 10pm, but seemed nice otherwise. The cleaner showed up an hour early, seemed like she wanted us to leave earlier than checkout time, and gave us a religious pamphlet.

What this property lacks in exterior curb appeal, it more than makes up for in location and overall amenities. Our group of 11, ages 3 to 96, was accommodated well by the house. The living room-kitchen areas were spacious and well-supplied. A minor negative on the interior were the bedrooms, which were sufficient, but the mattresses were generally substandard. That said, our overall experience was terrific. The deck and pool made the vacation, especially for the grandchildren! We had pool cleaning and trash collection twice during our week. The close proximity to the beach was also perfect, for both young and old. Both restaurants and groceries were nearby, adding to the convenience of the location. The property representative was professional and attentive. Overall, we felt we hit a "home run" in selecting this property. We would consider going back again and would certainly recommend the property to others!

The house, pool, and hot tub all were top notch. The BeachhouseFL team was always available and took care of any issues immediately. The beach was just a short walk down the side road. The Pier was a longer walk but there were several good restaurants close by. There is a bar near by that plays music, loud, until 3am. If you are sleeping in the front room it may keep you up. The back room and main area are not effected by the music. Everything you need is already there; beach chairs, toys, washer, dryer, grill.

The property location was amazing. We were steps away from the beautiful white sandy beach. The pool and hot tub was used everyday and we spent a lot of time relaxing on the private deck. Our property manager Allen was excellent. He was always available to help with any question or concern. We loved our stay in Cambria House in Clearwater Beach, FL.

Being a first family gathering for many years we needed a villa with adequate space and a perfect location. This property fits the bill as it slept 17 of us and is right on the beach. There was plenty of space at meal times and the new decking area was ideal to lounge around on.
The whole team were great dealing with any queries that I had during our vacation, giving us prompt responses and solving all our problems.

Overall a fantastic villa for big families wanting a great location.

We came down with 9 people to attend a conference and rented this nice beach-house. Everything was hunky-dory. It is a bit down the road from all the touristy action, but I guess that could be considered a feature. Our conference hotel was on Sand Key, so we had to drive anyway to get there.

I must admit that our experience started out a little rocky but Alan came to the rescue and fixed everything right away. This is a great house for it's location to the beach and the fact that it has a pool. Our whole family enjoyed everything; even how well the kitchen was equipped with plenty of dishes, silverware, pots and pans and even baking dishes. We had a blast and would definitely go back again.

This was our 3rd rental in Clearwater Beach and clearly the best location. Close enough to town to walk, but far enough to still be quiet. The new pool area was very nice, when the hot tub is working it will be wonderful. The landscaping and lighting is very pretty. I was not expecting it all to be new so that was a nice surprise. Alan was very good to work with. Can't wait to go back!

We stayed for a week with 11 people, including kids. The property was perfect for us! The location was excellent-we walked almost everywhere we went. The beach access was great for our family. We felt the price was extremely fair. We very much enjoyed our stay! Clearwater is a beautiful place and we will be back!

Our stay at the Cambria house was great! We had a house full of adults and children and everyone had enough room to sleep and play. The location to the beach was great. There was an issue with the pool deck which was taken care of within 24 hours. The pool was maintained twice while we were there. Great for kids and adults.

We had a great time at the Cambria Beach House. Just what we needed before heading back north for the summer. All in all the house was in good shape. It does need some love on the exterior - a new deck would be great and pruning of the plantings is definitely needed. The house is fully equipped and the location couldn't be beat for the money. We hope to rent again next year.

The house was better than we had expected, wonderful location, quiet and clean.Everything worked well. There were a coupleof cracked deck chairs which we did'nt spot until after the agent had gone. The spiral staircase was not up to health and safety standards as children could squeeze thought the bars.
Overall , a great place to stay for a seaside holiday.

The location was perfect for our group of Mothers and Daughters on a spring break senior trip. The beach is just steps from the door and quiet enough for the Mothers while the daughters could find plenty of excitement just a little farther down the beach. Great restaurants and plenty of night time activity in easy walking distance. The city of Clearwater does a great job of embracing spring break crowds while keeping a watchful eye and preventing things from getting out of control.
