Bay Esplanade Beach Rental by BeachHouseFL

The house needs some general maintenance like door knob to pool, flooring, holes in walls, sink, etc. The property is in a great location to beach and it was super nice to have the pool. The house was not clean and could use a super good deep clean. I would expect with the charges and fees, the house would be clean. It also lacked some necessary items like kitchen towels and soap which I have received in other rentals I have stayed at.

WiFi did not work the entire time. Requests for help were answered once but when the solution didn’t work they never answered again. Dust and mold on windowsills, stains on curtains. We got there at 4 and housekeeping was still there. 5th bedroom and 3rd bathroom outside main house and not easily discoverable, had to ask where they were. Pool maintenance came on unscheduled day and surprised my daughter who was swimming. No smart TV in living room. Beds and pillows VERY uncomfortable.

The property itself was okay, close to beach and nice-ish overall. Loved the pool.

The house was not what I expected from the pictures. The set up was weird. There was a completely separate entrance to the 5th bedroom. Overall the house could use some upgrades inside and out.

we had a great time at this rental! It was a couple block walk to the beach, the pool was amazing - warm enough to swim in the morning and night and a fun hang out after the beach. there are chairs to rent from the restaurants on the beach for really good price if you don't have your own. the water at the beach is warm, not great for boogie boarding but perfect for little ones. the house was clean and comfortable traveling with a large family and kids! We would absolutely choose to stay at this location again.

This was the perfect place for a quick walk to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. The only suggestions I would make is that the home could really benefit from a week of good cleaning and small fixes/touchups. The air vents and doors were very filthy. The light fixtures have not been wiped clean in a long time. The pool was amazing, but the outdoor furniture was falling apart and the cushions were missing. I would stay here again just because of the location!

House is in a quiet area within walking distance of beach and shopping area. Great pool and patio area, very secluded. Nice new grill. The house is nice, was clean and has the amenities you would need. There were just some minor issues such as a few curtain rods that kept falling down when opening curtains, water temperature was hard to regulate in some of the showers, pillows are very flat. There is no outside rinse area either.

House was spotless, location was amazing. Walking distance from everywhere and anything you could imagine to choose. They did a great job preparing us for the trip and we’re constantly making sure w had everything we needed. No complaints and fully recommend this place to stay!

Loved it!! Definitely coming back. We have gone to Clearwater Beach with our 4 kids for vacations for over 30 years. This is the second year at Bay Esplanade with our family (kids, spouses, and grand kids). Bay Esplanade is the perfect setting. Easy walk to the beach with all of our beach gear. The house is impeccable. The new pool is great!

Property is just a couple blocks from the beach and a short walk to the strip and pier making it perfect for what we were looking for. Ample space in the house, especially considering the side of the house with the 3 extra beds has its own bathroom. Would recommend

We have been renting our family vacation homes in Clearwater Beach for the past 8 years and have enjoyed every home we have rented. Bay Esplande was the first to have little to no complaints from the ages of 3yrs-74yrs.
Very spacious
Plenty of beds
Plenty of towels and blankets for a large group.
Pool is amazing for the days you don't want to walk to the beach.
Store,Restaurants and the Pier were an easy walk for all ages.
Parking was no problem for our large group.
The detached suite was perfect for the teenager.
The 2 bedrooms on the north side of the house are very warm and we made use of them for the people who appreciate the warmth. The rest of the house was comfortably cool.

The only constant complaint was the WiFi was very poor, we like to watch Netflix at the end of the day and the buffering circle no one likes to see kept antagonizing us!
The teens had a simple fix, they just used their cell phone networks to watch from their phones and the Adults just watch what was on cable.

The the consensus amongst the group was, "We all had a wonderful time and the house suited our needs!"

Overall, we had a great experience. The rental company was great and kept in touch throughout our stay to make sure all was good. Pool area was great and where we spent most of our time. Close distance to the beach and shopping/bar areas. The only downfall we had was how close it is to the dumpsters down the street that were labeled “fish” and were filled with dead fish. The smell was absolutely awful. However, we did stay during the red tide, so I’m sure that’s why. Overall, though, it was great.

The location was amazing, walking distance to everything. The house was exactly as described. The backyard and pool were being redone but we were told that up front. The management team was very responsive to a few small maintenance issues. Great stay!

This was an amazing place to stay for our group! This home had plenty of room for 10 adults. Great relaxing pool. Quiet neighborhood but easy walk to the beach and restaurants. Very clean. We loved it!

The beach condo was a perfect escape from the realities of the world! Cheryl was amazing at accommodating us and our many requests/change of dates during the COVID pandemic. Location, Location, Location! Great house with the perfect blend of quiet residential area and access to everything else. Having own pool is great feature when the sand and sun are uncomfortably hot. A couple guys even came by to measure for a new pool, which will be even better. Definitely would consider another stay at this location.

Our young family of four stayed here with two grandparents and all had plenty of room. The house is very clean and spacious and in a perfect location. Far enough from the main drag to be quiet but close enough to walk. The pool was a huge hit with the kids. The landlord was extremely responsive to all questions.

Improvements needed on outdoor pool and hot tub as things are broken.
More kitchen items needed: hot pads, baking pans, basics that include more toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex, garbage bags.
Area rugs on the floors would help with noise reduction throughout the house.
The mattresses on the beds are hard and pillow tops for them would be wonderful

The home was everything we expected. Very clean, more than enough bedding. The pool and hot tub were a little dirty with sand in the bottom but water was clean. In addition as soon as I contacted management they had pool service before we even got up the next am! We were full of questions and the management was very accommodating via voice and text.
The home was emaculate and the landscaping pans grounds were pristine.
I look forward to referring and renting more from . it was an awesome experience!!

Our vacation rental experience was top notch! The house, pool and hot tub were in great condition. Alan, the property manager, was extremely helpful before, during and after our stay, answering questions and actually helping fix our kitchen sink during our stay. The grounds were well kept, clean and the pictures do it justice! The house easily fit the 12 girls staying over with 5 queen beds and 2 on the twin beds. Additionally, the location to the downtown was perfect. Very walk able and we were super close to the Frenchy's on the beach, which was awesome. We would definitely recommend staying here and would be happy to come back.

We had plenty of space in this house with our big family. Plenty of dishes. Clean and updated. Cold A/C. Close to all of the stores on the beach. Everything in the house worked as it should.

We came down to Clearwater Beach for a family wedding. We (all 11 of us) loved the house on Bay Esplanade! We all had our own personal space but also the house was quaint enough for us to enjoy our visit together. The kitchen sink disposal was not working but there was a nice man there in about 20 minutes after I texted the problem. He fixed it quickly and was very professional.

No problems at all. Very happy with the rental. Great location, just 3 blocks from the beach. Little grocery story around the corner, deli meats. Management team very timely and helpful.

Loved the location, easy walk to beach and touristy places along Mandalay Ave. Info about local things to do was located in a notebook in the house and very helpful. The 5 bedroom layout worked well for this family reunion.
Kitchen cookwear and serving bowls need to be reviewed and updated for clients that like to prepare their own food. Grill outside was left quite dirty from cooking fish. Bathroom shower rods all need to be replaced (rusty) and current shower curtains VERY difficult to move. Everyone enjoyed their great matresses.

Location was fabulous! Close to beach, dining and shopping. House was cute. Only complaint we had was hot water was limited and beds were very hard and uncomfortable. Otherwise was a great house.

The whole experience was easy and comfortable. The house was very clean and well decorated. The beds were comfortable and everything was in working order. We had trouble with the pool heater but the property managers were very quick to respond and got the pool heater working within an hour of the call. It was absolutely wonderful and everyone had a great time. We were traveling with a baby and they provided a pack-n-play as well as a high chair. We really couldn't have asked for a better home for our vacation!

Had 11 people meet in Clearwater to celebrate a 40th birthday and this house worked out perfectly. Close to the beach, a park and restaurants. Pool and hot tub onsite to enjoy when just hanging around the house. Alan was very helpful during the booking process and when we discovered a crack in the coffee pot he had a new one to the house within a couple of hours. For a larger group you can't beat the 5 bedrooms and 3 baths this house offers. Everyone left very happy with the accommodations after having a great vacation.

I was visiting Clearwater Beach Florida with my sisters, cousins, mom and grandma to celebrate my sister's bridal shower. The house was comfortably able to sleep the 12 people we had and no-one ever felt crowded. The pool and hot tub were an awesome bonus and we were SUPER close to downtown so getting around was very easy. Everything was very clean and well taken care of. I would stay here again.

This home is a large and comfortable escape, just blocks from one of the most beautiful beaches!

We were 8 women staying in town over a long weekend. The main home was clean with a great layout and there was a side room that included three beds and a private bath off the front porch. We felt slightly separate at times, but it worked out for us!

Pool and hot tub were great and secluded from neighbors. We used them daily and found them to be fully functional.

Kitchen and bathrooms are not stocked with amenities so plan to pack toiletries, paper products, trash bags, salt and pepper, etc. or purchase before you arrive.

Area is off the beaten path from the beach but close to great restaurants, pretty beaches, and 40 minutes to Tampa International.

Management service was easy to work with and very attentive to anything we needed. Would recommend this property to anyone visiting Clearwater Beach with a larger group!

We rented Bay Esplanade and Coconut Beach resort next door for a family reunion. Having them next door was very convenient. We put the young people in Bay Esplanade; they enjoyed the freedom to hang out there when they wanted. The kitchen is big and pretty well stocked; the living room is plenty large. We never tried the tv, the internet was not connected the first 1 1/2 days, but Alan helped me get it going. I would give the place 5 stars, though there were a few issues. Alan was very responsive and got things settled.
1. The air conditioning was not cooling the house the first 1 1/2 days. A service man did finally come and got it running so that it was reasonably cool. There needs to be an additional unit so that the bedrooms get cool.
2. The hot tub had a strong chemical smell and bleached one person's pale blue swim suit white.
3. Several deliveries were made over the five days and by the time we left the porch was half covered in boxes.
4. There should be a couple single beds or bunk beds in a couple rooms; we had several 20-something males who would not share beds so ended up sleeping on the floor or couch.
5. Need a dish drain rack.
Overall it was a great weekend and perfect for our reunion. Thank you!

The property was overall very nice. The only complaint I had was the hoot water accommodations. Had to switch the breaker many times in order to get hot water and many tines at night in the dark which was inconvenient. Check out was a little early @ 10:00 am. Would have been nice to have been noon.

It is far from the main street that it is very quite while it's couple minutes walk to the beach and all the attractions. Bay Esplanade, the property was cleaned and ready to just bring in your suitcase. A couple minute walk to the beach, backyard pool was great. Had a hot water issue which was resolved in less than 20 minutes. I would recommend this property and would return.

Everything was great! We would like to return again. I would recommend a couple of things that would be very helpful— small clocks in the bedrooms and hooks on bedroom walls for bath towels.

We loved the location of the house and its features! Just a few minutes walk to the beach - slightly off the main strip - traveling with young kids, we enjoyed being just outside of all the hustle and bustle. When we wanted to walk and shop or grab a bite, it was the perfect distance as well. We fell in love with the house and stayed in its private pool during most of our days. House had plenty of room for us! Alan was helpful and responsive when booking and happily we had no issues when checking in or during our stay!

I rented this out for my wedding party and friends to stay st because my family was staying at the rental right next door! It was very convenient to have everyone in the same street! The house was very well stocked and the decor was adorable! My only problem with the house was the pool was warmer than the hot tub and the showers were cold. But again overall experience was very satisfying! Would rent again and recommend to anyone!

The cottage was so cute but more importantly, it was really comfortable! Had everything you would need. Quick walk to the beach and the pool was such a great place to wind down in the evening. I will be back again!!

Everything went very smoothly and Alan was great giving us updates, especially since we were coming in only days after hurricane Irma hit. the house fit 13 guys in it perfectly, after we noticed the adjacent room that no one saw until the second night. Overall, the place worked perfectly for what we were there for. It was also in a great location, walking 3 minutes to the beach and beach bars.

The home has so many helpful items in kitchen like 20 wine glasses, baking sheets, pots and pans, and even vases for flowers. Plenty of towels and blankets. This house was in the perfect location! We could walk to the beach and Frenchy's restaurant, as well as the shops on Mandalay and a few ice cream shops!
The house set up was perfect for us too! There's one bedroom/bathroom with a separate entrance which was perfect for my inlaws. When they wanted to go to bed early, our TV didn't keep them up, and they're early morning walks didn't wake us! The kids loved having a private pool and used it everyday!
Alan with BeachhouseFL was very helpful when looking into properties, discussing the layouts of a few houses in detail to ensure it was a good fit for my family!
I will definitely be coming back to Clearwater Beach and booking again with BeachhouseFL!!

The sunsets are wonderful Everyone enjoyed the fishing everyday. We caught a variety of fish. Our family loves Bay Esplanade and will be back. This will not be our last. Took the family down to Clearwater for spring break. The house was great, plenty big enough for 6 adults and 4 kids. Pool area was nice to relax at night while cooking dinners or during naptime for some of the kids.

Alan was super helpful. We ended up needing an extra night and he gave us a great rate for it.

We were so happy with our house and location for our stay on clearwater beach. The beach, restaurants, and fishing was all within walking distance. The house had plenty of room and bedrooms for our party of 12. The pool and hot tub were heated with plenty of seating around the pool. The house had a grill, washer and dryer, separate bedroom area for the teens, and was just overall a great fit! Only draw back to keep in mind, take extra wash cloths, toilet paper and garbage bags or grab some when you go out.

I had a Christmas vacation with a small wedding celebration at this house. The house is perfect for 14 people and we'll accomodates toddlers and children. Heated pool and jacuzzi were great. Only issue was there were no beach towels and one of the sofas is about to give in. Great distance from back and local restaurants.

Beautiful Beach house located right near Clearwater Beach. Rented the house and Coconut Grove together. It is decorated very well and had no complaints about beds. One of the bathrooms could definitely use a remodel but that would be the only thing close to a complaint

It was great! Was nervous to co-ordinate ten people coming in from all over, and Alan and Maria were beyond helpful. Especially appreciated rapid response to any question or concern I had. The house was spotless when we arrived, and a very charming place; just as portrayed in the listing. Wouldn't hesitate to return to this rental, or enlist Alan and Maria to find us anything in the future - thanks!
