Tampa hosts one of Anheuser-Busch's best theme parks. Just a short 30 minute drive from Clearwater Beach or 40 minute drive from Anna Maria Island, it is best to visit on a weekday to avoid the largest crowds. |

Clearwater Family Aquatic Center, a terrific new public facility with a great pool and tennis courts, is across the street from the Bay Esplanade house and a short walk to the other houses. Walt Disney World is just a 90 minute drive from Clearwater Beach or 90 minute drive from Anna Maria Island, it is best to visit on a weekday to avoid the largest crowds. |

The Clearwater Aquatic Center on Bay Esplanade includes an amazing huge public pool with a sloped entry, slides and swimming lanes. Brand new tennis courts are also open to the public year-round. |

Splitsville & the Florida Aquarium
Great rainy day activities and a trip to the nearby Florida Aquarium is located in the Channelside area. These two activities are winners when the weather turns sour. L located next to each other a short 20 minute ride from the beach. Best to go on a weekday but not too crowed on the weekends. A giant pin and bowling ball mark the entrance to Splitsville. Great to bring kids during the day and early evening. Mostly a bar for singles or groups at night. The 12-lane, $10-million center with an exclusive VIP party. |

Bottle nosed dolphins
Clearwater is home to an abundance of bottle nosed dolphins. They are everywhere and easy to see any day of the year. Go on a touristy boat ride like the Dolphin Encounter 727-442-7433 or just walk to the end of the Pier 60 at sunset or sunrise. |
